The Center provides resource and referral information to parents and professionals, including referrals for mentors, tutors, and diagnostic services.
 

Consultations by appointment with Center Director are available.
 

 The Center also maintains an extensive collection of materials on learning disabilities at the Patrick Beaver Memorial Library, all easily accessible at no cost to the public.
 

 The Center provides free informational seminars and speakers on topics to support families of children with learning disabilities.
 

 The Center provides Sonday training to teachers annually.
 

 The Center’s major initiative is the PBLRC Schools Attuned training course, offered locally to all three school systems in Catawba County each summer.
